Great News!

Last Friday I submitted and defended a motion to student council of Edinburgh University Students’​ Association. The motion was adopted with over 95% of the votes in favour. It lobbied in favour of the association’s public support of the complaint letter signed by over 800 students across The University of Edinburgh and Edinburgh College of Art, which outlined the demands of students who are studying on practise-based programmes and have been disproportionately affected by loss of access to on-campus facilities.

This was a big success for student advocacy at our university, but it wouldn’t be possible without the dedicated work of Programme Representatives who worked hard to receive and to relay their peers’ feedback and concerns to us. Thank you all!
